FEBRUARY 3, 2009

HI EVERYONE - I was too tired to do the blog last night so here goes.  We had a good day yesterday.  Aunt Linda and Aunt Patty came over. They fixed us a great meal.  We had fried rice and geoza.  Thanks Aunt Linda and Aunt Patty.  Grandpa Joe came over and ate with us too.  Danny had so much fun yesterday with them.  They had him laughing so much.  Danny's nurse came by and said he still understands a lot.  I think so too.  Danny was up more yesterday too.

Last night we had fun with Danny.  He remembers his ice cream sandwich.  He takes my hand and walks me to the freezer and gives me a big smile.  He eats it in the living room.  We think maybe he doesn't want his cigarette but as soon as he is done eating his ice cream sandwich he takes me toward the garage door to have his last cigarette for the night.

After we went to bed, he tried to get out of bed and I said Danny "No you are not having another cigarette".  He looks at me like I'm crazy and gets out of bed and I follow him and he goes to the bathroom.  Then he cracks up at me, like I'm still crazy.

Anyway, it was real fun yesterday and last night.

    Hi danny this is Keith..You are an amazing fellow. Your smile sends a mirror image of what a good fellow you are. You were really funny when I asked you if you could wiggle your ears, and you reached up with your finger and wiggled our ear. You let out a burst of laughter when I wiggled my ear with out touching it. YOu are really funny when you have a boxing match with your mom..You smile a big grin when I ask you "whats goin on". And then I say SOS (same ole SCHtuff). I love it when you give your mom those looks. Hang in there Danny, you are so loved by everyone..Talk at you later Keith

    Hey Danny
    It is so nice to hear how well you are doing. I saw a roach coach yesterday and i thought of you. I might come down there sunday or monday, i will have to check my schedule. Glad you are doing good cuz, love you and miss you a lot!

    Danny - this is Mom - I want you to know how many people truly love you.
    Since you were diagnosed, all of your family have come together. Danny - you brought us together. I can't tell you how much I love you. Every night I thank God that I am here to take care of you. It's so nice that you can still say "MOM". I love hearing that from you. I will be here for you always. By the way, your Dad loves you so much too.

    Hi Danny,

    Your Mom is right, I do LOVE YOU. I keep remembering all the times we worked together, you and me and then some with Chris. Some were real good times and some were just good times.smile Thanks for all the memories, not just of work but with our lives when you guys were growing up. You must have some of your Grandpa Whisler in you wanting to Box with your Mom.smile Sounds like you have had a good week, we can't wait to see you on Saturday maybe we can take our Family Picture then.
